About Me

Hello! I am Paul Basehore, and I wanted to welcome you to my little corner of the web.

I started programming when I was 8 or 9 on our Commodore Amiga 2000 workstation, using AmigaBASIC. Since then I have used or become proficient in a variety of languages, including Visual BASIC, Visual C#, C++, Perl, PHP, ASP and ASP.Net, and SQL in MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server dialects.
I graduated from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, USA in August of 2007 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Technical Communications. Shortly before my graduation I started working as an intern help desk technician and programmer for Hoshizaki America, Inc., a manufacturer of commercial ice machines and refrigerators/freezers located in the Atlanta area. After my graduation from college, I was hired on full time. Since then, I set up a server running Linux and the network scanning tool Nagios, replacing an aging Windows NT-based system and saving the company thousands.

I created this site to serve as a central repository for the various services I provide. I am available for website design and computer repair, with details at the appropriate links. Also, as a hobby I have a variety of collections; I have placed images and descriptions on their respective pages for your perusal.

To contact me, you may email webmaster@paulbasehore.com. You can also view my LinkedIn profile at www.linkedin.com/in/pmbasehore.
